Citrullus lanatus
A very rare rarity from Turkey, with refreshing, yellow flesh and beautifully patterned seeds.
From the outside, the fruits appear quite ordinary with a green skin and an average size. Inside, the melons have a sweet, yellow-orange flesh and the seeds develop into true little works of art as they dry. Then, with each seed, cracks gradually form in the dark shell, which appear like elaborate carvings due to the white interior. With us, the variety even grew well outdoors in a sunny location and nutrient-rich soil (germination temperature 22-28 degrees, planting out from mid-May).
